New Zealand still Failing in Climate Change Performance

New Zealand fell 7 places and now sits closer to the bottom of the annual league table on climate action released late last year by European research organisation Germanwatch.

The 2016 Climate Change Performance Index (CCPI) looks at a range of indicators and ranks developed and newly industrialising countries in a league table and
New Zealand fell from 35th last year to 42nd this year, placing us closer to the bottom and very firmly in the “poor” category.
