We congratulate one of our major sponsors – Charge Net NZ on their deserving win at the 2016 EECA Awards last night, recognising energy saving and renewable energy innovations.
Charge Net got a very special mention from the Transport Minister Simon Bridges, who had high praise for the team, specifically mentioning Steve and Dee West’s significant contribution to the EV community in New Zealand.
In accepting the award, both Dee and Steve spoke of the partnerships with lines companies and retailers and how important collaboration had been in getting the fast charger infrastructure underway.
Steve West also acknowledges fellow nominee Northpower, who were “Highly Commended” for this award.
“We all enjoy working with our many partners and supporters, and were are especially grateful to our fellow finalists Northpower, who have been working with us every step of the way for many years now.”
Charge Net NZ were also nominated for the University of Waikato Innovation award and collected a “Commended” certificate in this category.
